About

A different kind of care provider

Our story

Since 2020.

New Ventures Services has been operating since 2020, supporting recipients across Minnesota in living the lives they choose at home, in the community, and on their own terms.

Our approach is grounded in three commitments: every goal is person-centered, every step is documented, and every plan is supported by data. Progress stays real, measurable, and meaningful for the recipients we serve and the care teams who trust us with their referrals.

We provide culturally competent care that meets every recipient where they are. Not everyone gets a head start in life, and we are here to fill the gaps with steady support, fair treatment, and respect for each person's identity and community.

Because the goal isn't just services, it's a life lived well, at home, for as long as possible.

Meet the Director

A path built from lived experience

Our Director's path into 245D care started as an IHS staff member and DSP, learning what good care looked like by doing it. From there came a teaching career and a master's in education.

Living and working in North Minneapolis, she founded New Ventures in 2020 to build the kind of agency she wished had existed all along: hands-on leadership, recipients known by name, and culturally competent care as the standard.

"My own mother is a CADI waiver recipient. Because of a trusted IHS provider, she maintains her independence, and our relationship is stronger for it. Every recipient deserves that."

Let's start a new venture together.
