Supporting Minnesotans on
the path to independence.

At New Ventures Services, we believe growth toward independence happens through practical daily skills, trusted relationships, and individualized support. We provide 245D waiver services with a focus on person-centered goals, strong communication with recipients and case managers, and consistent progress that can be seen and measured.

Independent living is built one skill at a time.

What We Offer

Care built around the recipient

Each recipient we work with has their own story, goals, and pace. Services are built around the person, not the other way around.

IHS with Training

Individualized support and skill-building for adults in their own homes. Daily living, community connection, and the goals that matter most. Our staff walk alongside recipients as they build the routines and confidence to live the life they want.

Homemaker Services

Help with the everyday. Light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and home management, so home stays a place of comfort and ease. Many recipients who need homemaker support also benefit from IHS with Training to build the underlying skills.

IHS with Family Training

Support and training for recipients living with family, helping the whole household grow stronger together. We work with all ages to build practical goals and family systems that make daily life work, from school-age routines to adult independence.

24-Hour Emergency Assistance

Someone reachable around the clock. Peace of mind for recipients and their loved ones, every hour of every day. Each recipient and their care team choose a tiered level of access that fits their needs.

Person-Centered

Every plan starts with the individual. Their goals, their pace, their voice.

Documented

Clear records mean clear progress and full accountability to care teams and recipients.

Data-Supported

We track what's working and adjust what isn't, so growth is real and measurable.

About Us

A different kind of care provider.

New Ventures Services has been operating since 2020, supporting recipients across Minnesota in living the lives they choose at home, in the community, and on their own terms.

Our approach is grounded in three commitments: every goal is person-centered, every step is documented, and data support every plan. This ensures progress is real, measurable, and meaningful for the recipients we serve and the care teams who trust us with their referrals.

We provide culturally competent care that meets every recipient where they are. Not everyone gets a head start in life, and we are here to fill the gaps with steady support, fair treatment, and respect for each person's identity and community.

Because the goal isn't just services, it's a life lived well, at home, for as long as possible.

Meet our Director

Our Director, Founder

Years of hands-on DSP and IHS experience, a teaching career, and a master's in education. Founded New Ventures in North Minneapolis to bring high expectations and competent care to those most often overlooked.

What Sets Us Apart

Built differently, on purpose

Small choices add up to a big difference in how care actually feels.

Direct access to leadership

Every recipient knows the Director personally. No layers between you and the person in charge.

Culturally competent care

We welcome every recipient as they are, with respect for each person's identity, background, and community, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.

Remote IHS check-ins

Regular life-planning calls between visits keep goals on track and connection strong.

Lean overhead, stronger pay

Operating remotely lets us put more in the pockets of the staff doing the real work.

In Their Words

What people are saying

From the case managers who refer to us and the recipients we serve.

When a placement was not working, they did not make me start over. They moved a different staff in within the week and the fit was right. That kind of responsiveness is rare.

Case Manager

Hennepin County

I have been with other agencies. This is the first one where my staff actually knows me. She knows my routines, my preferences, what a good day looks like.

Recipient

CADI waiver

The Director still comes out and takes me for coffee every few months. Just to check in, see how I am doing, hear what is on my mind. I have never had a provider do that.

Recipient

CADI waiver

I have referred recipients with complex histories who had been through several providers. New Ventures took the referral, built trust, and made it work.

Case Manager

Dakota County

They actually read the support plan. When goals shifted, the team adjusted without me chasing them down for updates. Communication has been consistent from day one.

Case Manager

Twin Cities Metro

When my goals changed, my team did not push back or make it complicated. They listened, adjusted the plan, and we kept moving forward.

Our Promise

How we show up

We listen first

Every story is different. We start by asking what matters to the recipient, then build support around their answers.

We stay the course

Independence grows over time. We walk alongside recipients for the long road, not just the easy stretches.

We show up

Reliable, present, and consistent, because the everyday is what makes the bigger goals possible.

Let's start a new venture together.

Case managers, county assessors, and care teams can make a referral here. We will walk through the recipient's needs and how we can support them.
